Some new words ...

Here I am back today ..atlast typing a blog .. reason being very simple .. i just came across couple of words which have potential to be proper english words so i thought better let you all know that i was the founder of these words . I may say i hope that these words become as popular as the 'f' word :) and commonly in use by all of you guyz and guess wat if they do become popular I will give 50% of my credit to the person I have dedicated this post to ..

Here is the list.

1. Memon: A person who is stingy. (People who migrated from Gujrat, India and most of them are now living in Karachi, Pakistan)

2. Memonist: A person who is at the height of being memon.

3. Memonism: The concept of Memon. The process through which a Memon saves money from no where :)

4. Memonize / Memonizing: The process of making a process cost effective. Example: When Paul O tellini announced that he wants to make Intel agile and more effective and would reduce job force by 10% he meant that he want to Memonize Intel.

My letter to dawn...

I wrote couple of letters to dawn but unfortunately none of them were published, I was so pissed off that I promised myself not to write any more to dawn.

Days passed by and eventually I forgot all about the promise. Friday 5th May 2006 I was at work looking at some latest news about Intel and suddenly a particular section of the news grasped my interest and I eventually started typing yet another letter to dawn.com. I clicked on new email in Outlook and before I even started writing a letter I mistakenly pressed Ctrl+S and guess what I send an empty emailJ But still continued with my decision to send an email I started typing yet another email and in no time I pressed the send button and this time without giving a heading to my letter!!

Anyway I knew that yet again this time my letter wouldn’t be published and even the editor must be pissed off from me since I made couple of blunders.

Sunday 7th May 2006 I woke up late and as usually prepared tea for myself, switched on my laptop and logged on to epaper.dawn.com. I was flicking through the newspaper and suddenly letter with the heading “Low Cost Laptops”. I clicked on it, signed it to e-paper and guess what it was indeed my letter to dawn.com. I was so excited that till now, 1 week passed by I give this link to all my friends just to show off.

And guess what I don’t stop showing off, here is the website address

My imagination starts from where your thinking ends!!!

Nice and interesting quote. Indeed it is, may be a good line to say to your friends, but what if you use it in front of your Boss?

On one side, it adds a "+" point as you remember such a quote which can make your Boss believe how innovative you are or you are really have a good ability to think, But the bad scene, what if your Boss takes it personal???

Now i would never be serious when saying that, but just imagine for once, your Boss is serious?? now what? how will you spend your time in office? what would he think? how will he react?

Any comments??

Few of my own ..

My experiences had always been a great inspiration for myself along with it, sometimes from this boring world, from nature, from lives of others, from imagination, every day work and managed to think and write some quotes.. Here are couple of them which i remember.. maka a copy of them, you never know i might be very famour some day ..

- I NEVER FOLLOW SOMEONE FAMOUS BECAUSE I WANT TO BE FAMOUS MYSELF.

- BE A GOOD THINKER AND LEARN HOW TO NEGOTIATE YOUR THINKING RATHER THAN BE A GOOD THINKER AND THEN FORCE YOUR THINKING.

- YOU WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO ESTIMATE YOUR IMPORTANCE UNLESS YOU LOOK FROM SOME ONE ELSE'S EYES

Life on the other side of table ..

I believe this would be best ever Blog, i started off writtin few weeks back but I registered this Blog today after a wonderful day today at work, guess WHY??

For the first time i was on the other side of table!!!So did you guessed what the other side of table means?

Well for the first time i TOOK INTERVIEWS !!! and not just 1 ... 4 of them and sittin on the other side of table, in one of the World's leading Companies (Intel) is something I should be proud to be (Should'nt I???)

Well I left for office early today in the morning, sorted out everything, printed out CV, and in applicants started coming along from 9. By 10 all 8 of the applicants were in office, all dressed up in suits and feeling nervous (Believe me in Intel, the dress code is Jeans T-shirt .. just imagine how odd they were looking).

11am i took the first applicant to the room, my supervisor was waiting for us there, he directed the applicant to a seat, and i directed myself to a seat near my supervisor (made myself confortable and relaxed and placed my left leg knee touching the table).

My supervisor started off with a good easy quetion and then it was my turn .. My dream come true .. i would have to bombard him with loads of question but the first thing came up in my mind were to discuss errors and mistakes in his CVs.

The entire day went off, i took interview of 4 applicants and my collegue 4 !!!Then soon after all the 8 interviews we sat together and almost selected out new hires :)

TRUST ME I ACHIEVED WHAT I MIGHT HAVE NOT ACHIEVED IN NEXT 3 YEARS TIME ..
